"Speak your peace"

It's "speak your piece"

(From Merriam-Webster: say your piece
: to say what you want to say : to express your opinions or ideas ▪ You will all be given a chance to say your piece [=speak your mind] at the meeting tonight. ▪ You've said your piece, now please let me respond.)

(From Cambridge International Dictionary of Idioms: say your piece

to express your opinion about something, especially something that you do not like)

(From thefreedictionary.com: speak one's piece, to express one's opinion; reveal one's thoughts upon a subject: I decided to speak my piece whether they liked it or not.)
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

"Money is the route all of evil" its actually "The love of money is the route of evil"
even Pink Floyd got it wrong.

My dad even corrects Prince, " all that glitters is not gold" he says its "all that glisters is not gold"
he hates Prince though lol
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

OMG THANK YOU! I fucking HATE these dumb c*nts on reality TV trying to act SMART, and using the word "conversate". And the "could care less" AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! Major pet peeve! Cuz it's so beyond a spelling error at that point. I even noticed in Perez's statement recently about his beating that he used the phrase in relation to GLAAD. One of the rock n rollers on Celebrity Rehab used it once and I about choked him through the screen. Yeah...you're on drugs, AND a dumbass with your one hit wonder self.

When someone says, "You can contact Lynn or MYSELF..."
(or any time MYSELF is used in these instances)

NO!!! pissed

It is "Lynn or ME"
If you remove "Lynn", you wouldn't say "Contact myself, therefore it's incorrect! hmph!

Right. If you remove the person's name and it still makes sense, then it's right.

Actually it's ROOT, not ROUTE. Meaning, the core, or start, not the path. And I do hate that mistake of "love of money" opposed to just "money".

The one I've noticed lately is people saying "I seen", instead of "I have seen" or "I saw". I mean, in what world does "I SEEN HER" even FEEL right rolling off your fucking hick ass tongue, much less SOUND right?

Double negatives bug the shit out of me too.

I also hate "sup" and "chillen". I won't even respond to an IM or otherwise if someone says "sup" to me.

THAT's the one that really bugs me, not just because it's wrong, but because
it completely reverses the meaning of what the person is trying to say. It
always winds me up a little when someone says it. It almost makes me wanna
reply with "Oh, so you DO care about it then", but the confused look on their
face and resulting conversation about the grammatical error just isn't worth it.

Similarly, double negatives annoy me too, as they also reverse the meaning.
Like "I ain't got no money"... that also makes me wanna say "well, if you ain't
got no money, that means you must have some money!".

Another one is "Cheap at half the price!", which again reverses the meaning.
Of course it should be "Cheap at twice the price!".

arks instead of ask

someping or somethink instead of something (the people i know who say this aren't from another country and English is their first language

"shivers down the back of my neck" instead of "chills down the back of my spine" or other variations

"It's been a long slug" instead of "it's been a long slog"

When people type/write "women" when they mean "woman".

It annoys the heck out of me the way Iran and Iraq is wrongly pronounced.

It's not "Eye-ran" or "Eye-raq"... it's Iran,Iraq 'i' as in 'it' 'is' etc... damn it's not that hard.

I always had a gripe when I heard people say supposably instead of supposedly...so I was gonna put it here but I dictionary.com'ed it and supposably was in there....included with a definition TOO close to supposedly. Lemme wiki it...I'll b back.

it doesn't exist on Wiki except within edits.

It is in Merriam-Webster as well as thefreedictionary.com....so I guess it is a word. I'll digress when an english major discusses the reason for 2 of the same damn word, one being spelled wrong...that one being "supposably" in my eyes.

That one irritates the shit outta me - 'Supposably' is NOT a word.. it's just one that people have bastardised into becoming a word.

Ooh - I know someone who uses 'agreeance' instead of 'agreement' (ie - 'Tony is in agreeance with me') - it makes me want to punch him in the face.

I have shown him twice that it's not a word and makes him look like a dick when using it in a business conversation. Making up words doesn't make you look like a professional.. it just makes you look like a tit.

OK - Rant over lol

the correct is bigger....as in this fish U about to fry is not very important because I have a bigger...related to the term "fish-tales"...people r always comparing the size of fish and exaggerating the size because of whatever reason

I love it..I love it!

I COMPLETELY 4got about this one. I think it's southern. My Ma used to say it 'till we had to break her of it like a wild horse:

"go make groceries"

really?...U're just gonna go make 'em when everyone one else here has to suffer and buy them...U though, U can just whip 'em up outta thin air. Having moved to Louisiana...I hear it WAAAAAY 2 often. That and "earl" instead of "oil". That is just an accent thing. If they were to write it out they would write "oil" but say "earl". My cuzzin cooks and deep fry's a lot and is always saying "grease" and "earl".
