Turn offs

OK so this topic has been done to death over the org years , seeing this got me thinking , is it true that being self concious really that much of a turn off ? Surely its better than being really full of yourself and overly confident which is something I dont like at all in people ....

"my mistake" lol

there's being humble and then there's being self concious to the point I'll begin seeing you the way you see yourself.

and if you think you're hot shit, you'll probably get there sooner than later doody

It depends on the person.

I do find it attractive when a person is relatively confident...if I'm only looking for sex.

I find it a complete turnoff if they're really confident for a relationship. When it comes to women, I've always been drawn to the 'shy, humble, cute' type personalities. With men, about the same. Nothing is more of a turnoff to me than an alpha-male or alpha-female.

I do notice confident guys tend to have big dicks.

I don't find it a turn-off at all; in fact, I find it very endearing. That said, if you're asking which is more sexually alluring, confidence usually wins (whether we're talking about humans-with-cocks or humans-with-vagines).

Surely its better than being really full of yourself and overly confident

Women always say, 'Confidence is a turn-on; arrogance is a turn-off'. But ya know what? They'll get moist for an arrogant dude way before a self-conscious dude.

Of course - as with anything else in life - there are exceptions to these rules (if you don't know that by now, the short bus line-up is to the left).

I should start chargin' for this stuff. bored

Errant-bracket-and-missing-comma edit.

I'm totally an exception, but then my taste usually is. I have no interest in alpha males. HUGE turn-off for me.

As for the other, I think there's sometimes a fine line between self-deprecating and self-defeating and once crossed, THAT's when it becomes a turn-off.

I prefer arrogant and confident as long as it also comes with intelligence and humour.

I prefer hot chicks who are content with just coming over to my place to bone and go home. But beggars can't be choosers.
