do you read every thread?

how do you figure out what threads to read? are you judging a thread by its title, the person who writes it, by chance, or do you read them all?

what makes you decide to read a certain thread though?

Normally, if the subject matter is a little off the beaten path or if it's interesting. Or if it's posted by somebody that makes me laugh, etc. But a lot of times, it's just random. I think out of all the threads that appear on page 1, I might click 3 or 4 most of the time unless I'm really bored. I forget conversations if it goes higher than that it it ends up looking like I ignore responses to my post, when in fact, I simply just forget to check the thread again or to respond.

No, I judge by the title but if it's someone I can't fucking stand, I skip those, too.

I only read the threads that have titles that look interesting, ones that look like I could be helpful in,and the ones that I start to see the responses.

No, far from it. These days I just pop by, click on threads in 'my org' that have new reponses, then occasionally go into the main GD forum page and click one or two threads that either catch my interest or were started by or were last posted on someone I like. smile

I probably post, on average, on only about 3 or 4 different threads per day.

We're mostly on the same threads together.

That must mean, something mushy

Topic.
Some I just have no interest in.
Sometimes the number of responses makes me take a peek but I won't comment.
I try to track mine but sometimes forget them . . .
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

That's not enough to make me skip it. But my reactions can be random. Disagreeing with someone strongly on one topic doesn't mean we can't agree or joke on another thread.

or do you read them all? I don't read every thread. Sometimes I read threads I wouldn't normally read out of boredom.
