You ever just call of work...

for no particular reason at all? I mean just because you could. I woke up this morning at 5 in the am. Went on a run and watched the sun come up and decided I was not going to work. I called in "sick" cough, cough. then drove up to the mountains walked around the lake and had a big old breakfast (8 eggs!) Just drove down the hill right now. Will probably do some reading, mess around on the computer, and do a bunch of nothing till I go hang out with the lady this evening. I've not done this in quite a while, and it feels good to play hooky!

It's called "anal glaucoma" - you just can't see your ass going to work.

No, I get teased all the time at work, because if I am alive and not in labor or not on a scheduled vacation. I am showing up at work. I have been with my same employer for 23 plus years, I appreciate my job and I know for a fact I am appreciated back. I always show up for work, my Mom and Dad had many faults, but they did instill work ethic in me. They use to always say, "if you can't do your job, your boss will always find someone else to do it for you" it has stuck with me all these years. cool

I think I've only been absent from work (school) 5 days this year. The thing is, I co-teach with 3 different teachers. 2 of them think that Monday and Friday are optional. neutral I am getting burned out, with 2.5 weeks of school left. sad

I'm taking June 15th, tho, because I'm going out Sunday night... boogie

Our last day is June 23rd.
Summer School starts the following Monday, but that's Monday-Thursday (8-1), for 6 weeks, I think. I can handle that! wink
