i did the same search and obviously read what you read...  i would be more concerned, except that it happened that day, immediately afterwards, and never went away. like, my voice hasnt changed that much, but i have noticed that even when im playing around with my kids i cannot sing for shit! we used to play rock band right after christmas and they always made me sing - i cant even sing along to the radio now!!

alright, a little more to the story here.... it was 3 days before my surgery, one that i knew would have me laid up for the next 6 weeks. im pretty sure on most accounts i was trying to over do it in order to not miss it, that kinda silly thinking i had taken a pain pill, didnt really hurt that much  until about an hour later like i said, those days and the many weeks following it were a blur to say the least - i really woulda never thought about it except that i keep having that guy calling me talking about 'we should do that again'  apparently it was a good day for him, turns out, i didnt really have that much fun
but, i never really noticed it until AFTER surgery, other than the fact that i felt it that night. im quite certain that its from the intubation tube during the operation now that i read more about it. i will have things checked out just to be sure though.
