What do you think causes De Ja vu?

I have experienced it quite often in my life. How do you think does it happen?

Something to do with electricity in your brain neurons or synapses or whatever. Makes you believe that you´ve really experienced something before when actually you haven´t .

It's got something to do with either the right or left part of the brain experiencing something a tiny, tiny, tiny bit earlier than the other side.
Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

This is interesting. Does anybody know the English translation of De Ja vu?

Also, can someone explain Vu Ja de - When you get the feeling that everything is unfamiliar and has never happened.

You have two ears and two eyes. De Ja Vu is likely to be the brain receiving the same message twice from a particular sense. E.g. instead of receiving a collective message from the eyes. It instead receives two 'individual' but identical messages from each eye. Your brain receives the message from your right eye and then within a millionth of a second your brain is sent the same message again from your left eye. Consequently it confuses the brain into thinking it has experienced the event before.
