Thanks for the link...I will pass this on to Christina. I told her to eat what she craves, when she can keep food in.

I am not even pregnant and that sandwich sounds yummy. lol

Absolutely! I found that for days on end I could only eat cheese sandwiches, then it would be a week's worth of chocolate croissants, then only cornflakes, then there was the month I couldn't leave the room without carrying a packet of chocolate hob nobs... lol Now isn't the time to worry about nutritional values, if it's the ONLY thing she can eat then that's what she should have nod

As long as she drinks plenty - I'd stay away from orange juice though thumbs up!

Is there anyone that can help her out with Seyhan?

She should ABSOLUTELY see a doctor! It doesn't matter that she isn't due to see her ob/gyn, they may be able to advise her or prescribe something.

Please tell her to be really careful with herbs and alternative therapies, they're not really recommended before 12 weeks and even then should only be used with a qualified practitioner.

Poor thing... comfort

Right she is handling Seyhan on her own, her hubby comes home Saturday and I told her after this week I will be able to keep Seyhan with me.

I agree she should go see her Dr. And thank you about the info about herbs and such I will keep that in mind. hug

She could also try peppermint gum.

The peppermint itself is known to ease nausea, and the extra saliva produced by chewing can also settle the stomach by getting all the digestive juices flowing.

I was just reading about morning sickness today! One of our insureds is having a bad case of it and her dr was ordering her a zofran pump. I was trying to figure out what the hell a zofran pump was and stumbled upon a wikipedia page talking about hyperemesis during pregnancy. Like others have on this thread, it mentioned ginger which I had never heard before. I thought to myself 'I must save this bit of info to pass along to someone in the future'. What a strange world!

I hope she gets to feeling better! It probably means she's having a boy. woot!

With my daughter I had horrible "all day" sickness. I became dehydrated and had a home nurse with me for a week. In the end, my mom recommended miso soup with tofu, with rice. It actually worked for me. It has to be in moderation though. smile You can get it almost anywhere nowadays, the tofu is plain, and the rice will fill you up. The kind I buy comes in individual packets ( I've seen it at Wal-mart, Kikkoman brand), boil the water, add the packet, add the rice (pre-cooked!), usually takes 10 minutes. The funny thing is whenever I'm sick now, I eat that and it make me feel better, especially if my stomach is upset, maybe the asian version of chicken soup. biggrin Hope she feels better soon!
