Just got back from Cancun Had a great time! If you ever get a chance to go, stay at the Moon Palace, very plush.
That being said the whole damn swine flu shit was blown out proportion and seriously hurt an already poor country. I was there the same week last year and the place was virtually deserted because of everyone jumping the gun and calling this the next plague. Glad you had a good time.
I stayed at the Moon Palace a few years ago when I went for a wedding. It's really nice. Cancun is my favorite vacation spot. It's a great place to go alone, super cheap and only 1.5 hours away from Dallas, and it's really safe too.  | |

The Moon Palace isn't in the hotel zone. But we mostly just chilled at the resort, drank, met a lot of new people, played some golf. I had just got layed off right a week before we left, so it was a great way to get my mind off the bullshit going on back home. Don Julio damn sure got my mind off of it for 1 day. my mom was in cancun exactly for a week before the swine flu made headlines, and though she had a cold, it went fast and she was totally fine. | |

Where are the pics????? BTW: I heard that Cancun/Cozymel is having a promotion to combat the swine flu hysteria. If you come down w/ it within 8 days of your stay, you get 2 years of free vacations on them. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |
