Kinda late in re-joining the thread but last night's result was the best result my country has had in the Eurovision contest... we've been in the 2nd place before but we didn't get as many points then...
Besides it would have been VERY expensive for us to host the competition this year, with the recession being especially tough on us.
So anyway, áfram Ísland! Og Heia Norge!

Rouvas is damn hot and sexy, he can actually sing very well his vocals are well developed, which has kept him strong in the music scene for over 15 years. The open white shirt was quite amusing but even more so ridiculous when someone as unsexy as Michael Jackson does it.

I thought Albania, Turkey, Norway, Ukraine and a few others were cheap with those costumes and bad hair/makeup. The camp gladiator dancers were so gay with that aging try to be female rock star it was excruciating to watch.

It's Great Britain's entry, but the discrimination is usually against the English. Anyway, that didn't happen this year so :woo:

That was one of the most embarrassing performances I've ever seen. I can't imagine that this guy actually has a substantial career. Poor Greece. sad

Maybe that's why I hated it! Ricky Martin is my absolute least favorite musical "artist" ever!

To each their own opinion. I enjoyed it because it was a fun, uplifting and positive performance done with much passion.
