It makes me more than a little mad that people would throw away an opportunity to be completely healthy. To wake up every morning full of energy, a clear mind, and diabetes free is beautiful thing. As a Type I diabetic, I didn't have that choice. It pains me to see healthy people walking into a life of diabetes because they won't stop eating unhealthy things. I have seen Type II diabetics who were diagnosed at 40 or 45 and they just would NOT change their unhealthy lifestyles. Some of those people are blind. Some of those people have had limbs amputated due to diabetic complications. Some of those people are dead. To sum it up, I am just saying to take care of yourself and find a nice healthy balance. I wish it was that easy. At least for me. It's like telling a smoker to "Just stop." I thought you worked out? | |

I've been whining about getting back to it so I wont bore you with it. This time it's a bit harder to get back. I don't know why. JUST DO IT hasn't been working for me lately.
