I like hearing about her. It's nice seeing someone having their dreams realized (especially an ordinary, less-than-perfect woman of 47 who many people might consider 'past her prime'), and real talent appreciated and celebrated. I honestly don't think she's "ugly". I think Paul Potts was what you could classify as "ugly". I classify it as something I don't particularly enjoy looking at. I think Boyle has a cute look about her which isn't necessarily a bad thing. And she has a charming personality and as we all know, an incredible talent so who cares what some idiot says?
