Are we doing one-upsmanship or playing a zero-sum game? So just answer this question in a general sense. Do you think that since the economy has been going sour, that people are going more into the mind of one-upsmanship, only to have it end-up just be a zero-sum game?

Could you give examples, please?

I can't really think of specific examples right off the top, but suffice to say that now that Bush has left office, and Obama's getting things done, it's like there's no one to push all the blame. It also seems like with all the scarcity that's going on, people are really trying to get ahead by making others lose.

There's a possibility for people to become aware of themselves among all this economical mess, and uplifting themselves so they can return to forgotten and genuine values. Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity

Self accountability is a beautiful thing
