I will believe it when I see it. I don't really see him leaving unless Ferry dooe not bring in some legit help.

If he don't go to NY he can come right to Philly, we need him, lol!

If they get this guy a legit go 2 player 2 compliment his game, the Cavs will be a scary bunch 4 a few years.

Yep, I forget sometimes that Lebron is only 24, he'll only get better and with the right players as support he'll get him some rings

Nelson says there's a possibility he might be able to play in the finals.

Eddie Jordan is the new Sixers coach.

There's no guarantee the doctors & coaches would clear him to play.

I think it's bullshit that this man is not in the Basketball Hall of Fame. A three-time champion("best player I ever played with", said Larry Bird), Finals MVP, terrific defender(ask Magic Johnson) and one of the best clutch players. His stats don't lie.

[See images above - Although this post has a basketball theme to it, and is very well presented with beautiful photographs and a well written article, it is OFF TOPIC. It would be better discussed in another thread, perhaps you can create one. In the meantime, please refrain from posting so many pics (and those who comment on them don't repost the pics, as it slows down the download time for others who don't have faster speed computers) as it takes up a lot of bandwidth and slows the thread down, in general. Thanks, other than that, great post! - June7]

It amazes me that the finals were already over 30 years ago and the 2009 finals have yet to start. I think they used to play a 5 game series in the first round. I guess that's what has lengthened the playoffs so much.

Bad choice on his part. But I can understand what he is going through (went through). What is funny to me is, if Kobe would have pulled a stunt like that--- OMG!!!! We would still be hearing and seeing the video clip 24/7.

u r so right. 4 some reason people hate on him 4 whatever reason, the man is a winner and always will be. IMHO he should have been mvp. He was MVP n the all star game 2 years n a roll. The he was the reason they won the gold n the Olympics so yes he should have been MVP. Him and Paul G. has played more games than any other player n 2008/09 go Lakers wink

Kobe has that Michael Jordan look in his eyes. I just watched a clip of the Magic Johnson interview (ESPN), Kobe has that look in his eyes. This is going to be a good Finals.

Dude. How can you not like Phil Jackson? He is the coolest coach, next to Lenny Wilkins, that I have ever seen. Plus, he has a chance to pass Red for 10 titles has a coach.....Phil Jackson=Greatest Coach of All-Time.

That is pretty cool. I still remember the days when Phil Jackson was an assistant to Doug Collins... eek Talk about taking the talent that was given to you and reaching new heights!! Phil Jackson is the man; I don't care anybody says.

It's easy to win titles when you have household names to coach and
sure i know every coach doesn't accomplish this feat but Phil
has practically walked into MJ, Shaq, Kobe. He was struggling
with the lakers last season and prior before the great Memphis
giveaway. Same with boston and the great KG giveaway. I'd like
to see phil coach a team from the ground up like Larry Brown has
done repeatedly in his career. I'm more impressed with the Detroit
Piston led titles of the late great Chuck Daly and Larry Brown's
title in detroit and finals run with Philly.

Show me a single coach in NBA history that won multiple titles without good/great players.
