Damn - every year it's something with Yao and T-Mac. The problem with Yao is that no man that size can take that kind of pounding and stress on his joints, muscles, ligaments, and bones. Most Bigs ALWAYS have foot/leg problems because they are freaks of nature trying to do things to the human body that most average-sized people can't even do. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Well, you can stick a fork in the Hawks, Rockets & Mavs. That was a heart-breaking loss in Dallas yesterday.

At this point I can see Denver getting past LA in the next round. The Lakers defense is not that great and they have no killer instinct.

Lakers won't get past Denver. They're inconsistent as hell on the defensive end. 2-1 lead with a chance to go up 3-1 to close this out at home and they can't even get that done against an injury plagued Houston team.

This is ugly. I now see how weak teams feel when they get blown the fuck out. Damn. No way a scrub team like Houston should be doing this. Anomaly like a muthafucka. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Scrubs?...not really. This is moreso on the Lakers. At this point the Lakers are good team but they're not great team and this game is showing it. The Rockets have solid role players (as you can see) and they normally play like this when Yao is out with injuries. So it's really not surprising at all that they're playing like this. They were playing like this during that 22 game win streak last season when Yao was out with injuries also. So again...not surprising. This current Houston team has never really been at full strength. [Edited 5/10/09 14:51pm] "What you lose in the fire, you will find in the ashes." -Creole Proverb

They are just delaying the inevitable. The Lakers will win six. I said five, but the Rockets got lucky yesterday. They are still finished. “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist.” Brazilian bishop Dom Hélder Câmara

I still don't like what I'm seeing from the Lakers. Where was the killer instinct? They looked soft out there, and Bynum hasn't done shit so far.

Yeah. The Killer Instinct was missing yesterday. They should regain that insticnt Tuesday and finish off the Rockets Thursday or Friday. They played like crap yesterday. Lazy passes. Quick shots. No defense. And Bynum...wt? Some games he is a beast. Other games, I am like what the heck! But the Lakers will win. “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint.
