OK, whether you're french, English, Thai, German, etc. etc., I think most of us find words used in other languages often funny.

As low brow as this is ausfahrt (german word for 'exit') is still a ridiculously funny word to me

"Break"fast.....what the hell is a break? Should it be Brake-fast..as in braking your overnight fast?

My highschool english teacher (who was a native englishman) got huge laughs at a supermarket here in Finland when he saw bags of crisps/chips that are called Mega Pussi.

Well, lots of words are pronounced in ways that differ from how they look. Pronouncing "break" as "brek" is pretty logical when you're talking about a language that can get "Peggy" out of "Margaret." Or compare it to sergeant, colonel, and women.
