Search Engine Problem!!!

I have this very weird problem, that I cant seem 2 fix!! Whenever I type in a site address in the URL address bar, I suddenly get search results come up from Ask.com instead of going straight 2 the site that I type in!! Can anyone tell me, how i can solve this and get rid of the Ask.com search engine from my system as I cant find it anywhere on my computer in order 2 uninstall it or whatever???

You can easily uninstall Ask.com Desktop Search at any time. To do so:


Click the Start button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop
Select Programs from the pull-up menu
Select Ask.com Desktop Search
Click Uninstall
