david alan grier Vs carrie ann David Alan Grier: 'Dancing' judges 'can kiss my ...'
David Alan Grier seemed to be a good sport about being booted off Dancing With The Stars this week. But that was on camera. Off-camera was another story. Both Access Hollywood and Extra! have post-show interviews that reveal he was particularly angry with judge Carrie Ann Inaba. “There’s several people that can kiss my (rear), but she’s definitely the first in line…” he told Access. “To stand up week after week and be humiliated by people who have no right to talk to me [like that]… I am proudest that I didn’t climb across that table and slap the (you know what) out of every one of those judges - and that’s my proudest accomplishment.” Grier didn’t call out any particular comments by Carrie Ann and her fellow panelists, but rather their collective criticisms throughout the five weeks he was on the show. “I spent so much time trying to bring class into, what for me, was a classless situation," he said. They were DEFINITELY unfairly harsh on him from Week 1. He obviously has a lot of natural talent as a dancer. The fact that Steve-O and the rodeo dude are still on there says a lot. But I think he was playing in the interviews and did it for the attention because he said the same thing to several shows. This is typical DAG schtick. [Edited 4/10/09 7:29am]

I thought David Allen and his partner were GREAT and they really shouldn't have been booted off. It was UNFAIR that STEVE O from JACKASS is still on and David got booted off,but it was the people who voted. Steve cannot dance and David CERTAINLY can and his partner is Great. David just to let ya know I FEEL Ya and thought you were Great. The JUDGES were OVERLY CRITICAL for NO REASON.

Hey Emitt Smith won and he was not the best dancer. Mario and Joey Lawerence were way better than him.

It's about fans, even the best dancers, if you do not have a huge fan base, your ass is gone. Remember that cheetah girl? she was an excellent dancer, and was voted off week 5.

Why do we watch such stuff? It can't be to learn how to dance or is it? Prince's Sarah

Of all the big "reality" shows, this one is definitely the best IMO. You get a good feel for how hard the contestants have to work throughout the week and you get the payoff when they pull it together for a good performance. Unlike American Idol, where the singers have all been singing for most of their lives, you can see the growth of the dancers as the show goes on. I only watched one season regularly, but it's always entertaining when I watch it (usually with my family). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
