It shouldn't, but you're probably right! No "probably" about it, bruh! Trust and believe that there are racists out there hating that dude's everlastin' guts for being as great as he is in a sport largely dominated by his White counterparts. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Well, idiots like that aren't true sports fans, then. I don't care if a player has orange skin with pink polka dots and green stripes. If he is able to combine skill, effort and sportsmanship, I'd be happy for him to join my team. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

MuthaFunka said: Heavens to mergatroid! I'm jealous of Serena's booty and I'm a woman. She's in great shape. I bet even when she gets older, doesn't look like she'll ever have a sagging or flat ass. Do you know how many women get "ass" implants or wear jeans with that "extra" cushion to have an ass like hers? Luckily I don't have too. I think a man who insults her body, is because he wouldn't know how to handle a woman with a nicely, shaped ass like Serena's. so putting her down is easier, makes their ego feel better, yet their penis size stays the same. Sorry just had to say that.. (I cannot believe I am having a conversation discussing female asses, I'm completely straight and love men, but give credit where it is due.) She had a GREAT photo spread in Ebony last year. Here's some video of the shoot and she looks AMAZING. Plus her bubbly personality really shines through.

Athletical dedication and brilliance should never be undervalued. A positive role model for many I imagine.

On a serious note, just want to say this...it's a shame that women can't just appreciate that we all come in different sizes, shapes and colors and that we should not allow men, who basically control the media, advertising, modeling industries, and are the major blame in pitting women from different races/ethnic groups against each other in defining "beauty". So women, remember, we all come in different sizes, shapes and colors, there is no "ideal" individual female that defines our beauty as women as a whole. I'm sure those who have daughters would not want their own daughters going through low-self-esteem issues because someone in either of those industries, told her "she is not good enough" or her body doesn't fit the "ideal" image. So let's do the right thing and appreciate what our great-grandmothers, grandmothers and mothers gave us and embrace "all" of our beauty and what makes us all unique and beautiful...as "females and women." [Edited 4/9/09 11:36am] You know, while I appreciate the sentiment, we're clearly just bringing this all back to the topic of the initial thread that was locked. It appears no one can just let it go. |
