yes, I know ladies do the choosing. But like I said average looking, out of shape cats talk about how ugly or unattractive some chick is when they themselves are nothing to write home about. I just want to know why they feel the need to put some woman down and think they should get the hottest chick out there.if it was, allow me to run out of pace it's not 'bout aesthetics when you look love in the face when you meet ur other half your heart makes the case y'all know damn well it's the lady that does the choosing. It's not a discussion. People putting people down for looks, skin color, disability, choice of clothes, whatever ... will ALWAYS happen. Mostly out of insecurity.

I don't put down others, but I would point out what I feel is not attractive, if the discussion comes up. And I'm not looking for perfection. There's no such thing. Everyone has flaws, and those can be very attractive.

Those things are not attractive! Those things can be the things that put us off, not the looks lol. Yeah, I never seem to be able to shake that vibe off me. I know, easier said than done. If you are friendly and fun and relaxed and easy to be with, you have an advantage over most guys.

Inflated sense of self. Men in our culture are rarely made to focus on their looks they way both they and women are taught to focus on the appearance of females. A lot of guys could stand to work on their looks more than they do though. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I've always said a man should keep himself fit for his lady. And if he lets himself go, she should tell him. It works both ways.

If women are to be expected to keep themselves in good shape and have their hair and everything done nicely, so should men. [Edited 4/10/09 13:40pm] "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I've always said a man should keep himself fit for his lady. And if he lets himself go, she should tell him. It works both ways. In all seriousness, I agree with this post. But I always wondered why women had that instilled in them and not men. Maybe it's because it's not a traditional male trait to focus on the cosmetics and aesthetics of one's physically uniform makeup/outlook. Then again, it varies. I mean, if you grow up with a gym rat for a father (figure), then you might AT LEAST have it instilled in you to keep in shape. But, it isn't like there aren't gymnasium-roaming dudes that don't look like they could use a makeover. This sig is just a fig of your imago-neigh-shun
