My effort to stop swearing.

I have arrived at the unfortunate conclusion I swear too much.
This sets a bad example for my 14 year old.
So in an effort to change I will replace all swears with French Poodle.

Please support me in this effort and either refrain from swearing or use French Poodle.

Thanks For Your Support.

im gonna replace a swear word with a normal word standing in for the swear word means the swear world is still very much a part of your mental makeup.

cheers!

LOL

I don't swear, but I could! It's not like I don't know the words.

I just have never gotten into the habit. Sometimes I think it's just a habit.

But you know sometimes a curse word really says it all, doesn't it?

I refrain, though, because.. I just...am not in the habit of cursing. But I think the words sometimes, though! lol

Why should she care about the grand scheme of things? Once we've integrated a certain phrase into our vocabulary, there's no way of getting rid of it. Besides, you curse like a sailor! I KNOW you. I see you through my crystal ball!

I know I cuss way too much...but only around certain company and on a particular message board...I'm very mindful of language in public places and around folks that I don't know...or around those that don't use or care for swear words...I guess it would be nice to stop all together...but fuck it...

Hey, dog! You ain't got to kick a healthy habit of venting your frustration. You COULD purge yourself through a cathartic ritual. But, if you're comfortable with the relinquishing of impetuously disparaging remarks, I'm down with that, too. Any way to release anger is condoned by me, brother! highfive

I'm a firm believer in there is nothing wrong with cursing. Like most things, there are times and places where it is NOT appropriate.

Other than that, I think people that don't curse EVER are hiding something from me.

Well, I definitely would be hiding the curse word that is in my mind! LOL

But I just have not been raised to curse, I guess. I don't look down upon anyone else who curses, but for me... it was not acceptable way of communicating at home.. or elsewhere. So, I think I've been conditioned not to curse outloud at least!

I swear HORRIBLY. I make efforts to not swear so much, but never to stop completely.

If anyone EVER hears me say ANYTHING like "The fun you are!" You have my permission to shoot me on the spot.
I'm firmly planted in denial
