 Genesia! I think there should be LAWS against Crocs! 
To answer the thread title: To me, they complete an outfit. I don't feel dressed until my shoes pull the whole thing together. The right pair of shoes can transform a pair of black pants and white shirt into a fashion statement.  I use shoes to express myself. They always match what I'm wearing- not just in color, but in style.
