Now how you gonna root for a team WITHIN the conference YOUR FAVORITE TEAM plays in? That is SUCH a "female thang" . And that wasn't a boneheaded play. Trev made a play on the ball but clipped Rudy's dome and he fell awkwardly. I know Trev, and if Trev REALLY wanted to hurt dude, he would've - trust and believe! [Edited 3/10/09 13:18pm] Portland is actually my favorite team, and Utah is my second fave. I've got the Jazz avi because I used to live in Utah. It was a boneheaded play, whether he was intentionally trying to hurt Rudy or not. Rudy was defenseless, and given the circumstances of the game (down 28 at the end of the 3rd), there was no reason to go for a risky play like that, whether to commit a "hard foul" or whatever. The guy had to be carted off in a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Ariza didn't help matters by getting all uppity immediately after, either. I understand that accidents happen, and I don't think that Ariza is a dirty player in general, but it was a bad judgment call for him to go for it. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! You want players to just "give up" since they're down by a lot of points? Hell naw! I applaud Trev for his hustle. Again, it was an unfortunate ending to a hustle play. The league hasn't suspended Trev, so there it is right there. And I didn't see him get "uppity" at all, I did see Roy come over there and make matters worse though. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

There's a difference between giving up and engaging in a risky play in a game that's been rendered meaningless. I like Ariza (most of the time!), but I still think it was a bad judgment call. And Roy wasn't the one who had to be held back by his teammates in the ensuing melee. He didn't throw any blows, all he did was get in Ariza's face (and rightly so). In that case, EVERY PLAY IS RISKY when someone goes for a block and both are in the air, so you can't single TREV out when it's done every single NBA game. It wasn't risky, it was an unfortunate accident. And Roy DID have to be held back, so don't even try that! nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Atlanta's a tough team. Miami will be tough, but I think the Hawks are better. If Josh Smith and Mike Woodson can get along, I see the Hawks making it to the second round. Great memories..... Yeah my only memory of philly winning a nba title. I was probably a year old when they won it with wilt. Then their dumb asses traded him to the lakers. Sounds familiar. They later traded moses malone to washington for cliff robinson and broken down jeff ruland, and the number 1 pick which would have netted them brad daugherty and shitted that pick to cleveland for that flash in the pan roy hinson. To this day i wanna choke the shit out of former owner harold katz. To think they could have had a front line of Malone, Barkley, and Daugherty. Don't laugh at my funk
