JAMIE, the C's have lost to 2 teams below .500 in the last 8 days. Clips on the road, Pistons at home.

Regardless of the team, it's inevitable in the Association to lose to terrible teams. The 1995-1996 Bulls lost to the Toronto Raptors!

That being said, C's fans (who mysteriously resurfaced in last 18 months) have bragging rights.

For now.

Well, in that case, I wasn't talking about you.

I'm talking about the C's fans that haven't said a peep in 20 years, all of a sudden coming out of the woodwork (especially after last year's Finals) like they'd been on the bandwagon all that time.

It's all about getting that championship caliber qb. Look at the
steelers. I suffered through mark "tom selleck" malone, bubby brister,
neil o' donnell(good regular season qb), and kordell stewart(great as slash)
before the football gods delivered steeler fans big ben.

Lovie Smith would not know a championship QB if John Elway ran over his foot with a Mac truck.

Shit, the Knicks haven't won a title since fucking 1973. I was twelve then. The Bulls have six rings, so you get no sympathy from THIS old skooler. smile

As for da Bears, they haven't had a great QB since Sid Luckman. Can't pin all that on Lovie.

I don't like the characterization of the Hornets "ekeing" out anything...the way I take it, they're winning games late...which, heading into the playoffs, will toughen their early season, "we got this", skins.....I definitely agree that the almost trade of T-Chandler makes my Bees dangerous as hell....just ask the Mavs when CP3 hit on 3 alley-oops in a row to my man.....

we'll take that 6th seed...and sneak up on those Western Conference bee-yotches.....evillol

Moonbeam is the officially cursed sports fan.

Hell, I like multiple teams in sports:

NBA: Portland, Utah and Seattle

0-6 in the NBA Finals during my fandom

NFL: Buffalo, Tennessee and Seattle

0-6 in the Super Bowl during my fandom

NHL: Calgary

0-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals during my fandom

Even my alma mater, the University of Utah, blew the biggest lead ever overcome in the NCAA Basketball final, and finished 2 of the last 5 football seasons undefeated (and last year as the only undefeated team), and still didn't get crowned. sad

I was in the 11th grade the last time the sixers won a title. They made
it to the finals in 2001 and they gave me a little bit of hope after they
won game one in l.a and almost stole game two there but then they got
swept at home by the lakers and were done. They haven't been the same since.
I like some of the young talent they have and had hoped that by adding
a veteran like elton brand they would gel into a decent playoff caliber team
this year but they flopped with brand early. I've given up on samuel dalembert.
They may get in the playoffs but they will get bounced early if they are a
7th or 8th seed.

Their bruising, physical style reminds me of the Hoyas during the Ewing years. They wore UConn out both times. That could hurt them in the tournament depending on the refs.

It was great to see my beloved Trailblazers embarrass the Lakers with their worst loss of the season. Too bad Trevor Ariza made a boneheaded play that caused Rudy Fernandez to leave on a stretcher. neutral

Now how you gonna root for a team WITHIN the conference YOUR FAVORITE TEAM plays in? That is SUCH a "female thang" lol.

And that wasn't a boneheaded play. Trev made a play on the ball but clipped Rudy's dome and he fell awkwardly. I know Trev, and if Trev REALLY wanted to hurt dude, he would've - trust and believe! lol
