This one is beautiful.

My daughters miss the snow, but I really don't. Then again, I got to spend my whole childhood in Boston, and I do have really fond memories of sledding, snowball fights and forts.

Then I grew up and had to shovel the shit til I pulled muscles in my neck and shoulders, and had to drive through the shitty gray shit that that beautiful white stuff becomes in a matter of hours, and I said F that.
.
[Edited 3/2/09 17:43pm]

We didn't shovel anything. We just leave it until it melts. lol

Thanks. That's Noah. He's 6. mushy

And that prissy ass dog does NOT like the snow. lol

That's the kind of snow I can deal with. We would get the wet, heavy, 20-inches-at-a-time kind. And we had to park on the street, so shoveling out your car was really fun, especially after the snowplow pushed a mountain of that shit up against your car. mad

Pics often seem to come out with a strong blue hue to them. I got that a bit with my D40x, but I just removed it.

The snow we had a few weeks ago was the worst in 18 years! England doesn't get a huge amount and when we do everything stops!

did you take these with your phone?

Yes. smile

I used the wrong setting for the first one so it looks crappy. Normally pics come out better than that. Like this one I took back in the summer:

If NY looks like the first pic at the end of April then that's a serious problem.

It's very rare. I remember it happening the year after the Parade album came out. My friends that were into Prince kept playing his song around that time. lol

Yeah, every day we postponed some of the things what we had planned to do and waited for better weather until we gave up and did everything while it was raining.

It sucked sigh. But I am sure the weather will be fine while you are there hug.
The only other destination I have ever been to where it always seems to rain when I am there is Munich. Although there was a lot of rain in Trinidad this time too for the dry season sigh.

Though I must admit, I get lazy sometimes about doing things in-camera when I know the power of post-processing. disbelief
