I'm still wondering why I come here lol

Some days it's great fun, and then again,
other days can be very painful.

But I guess the few good friends I have here are worth it. cool

For me, it's a relaxing outlet for the most part, but there are
definitely days when that isn't the case.

The biggest things I have gained cannot be put in to words.

Real life hugs and time spent with ppl like Miguel are definitely reasons why I am still here, years later.

Some of these answers sound downright insane.

I come here for entertainment, laughs, connection, and I've learned a thing or two in my time here.

The biggies for me...
* It's a fun, safe, no-cost pub. (Now if only we could receive beer via orgnote hmmm)
* I can interact at will with friends from countless ethnicities, SES levels, religions, political inclinations, etc. and from all over the world! I can think of almost no other venues where that's such a fluid social possibility.
* The diversity of people here offers a rich spectrum of experiences, tastes and sensibilities from which to learn new things.
* The exchange of ideas challenges me to explore my own positions, either further grounding them or giving reason to evolve.

I like that it's quieter than a pub too, or you can have whatever music you want on lol

I used to call the org "daycare for adults"
