But you get in his place a well-meaning, passionate, but highly involved owner whose heart and wallet is in the right place but does not have the brain trust to put a winner on the field. Believe me, that is almost as frustrating. Especially when the last owner oversaw 4 Super Bowl appearances, perennial playoff appearances, and 3 Lombardis in 10 seasons. Yeah, but they have more responsibility these days. Roy Williams is like David Fulcher, Alvin Walton, and some of the other big dogs that roamed the backfields of the 80's, 90's and early 00's. But with rule changes and more multi-receiver spreads, the Roy Williams-type SS is becoming increasingly like a dinosaur. http://www.signonsandiego...rgers.html Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

For maybe 15 snaps a game, max. If he's in football shape. He's likely still got the raw talent for someone to take a flyer on him. The obvious place to start is Detroit. They just need help. Anywhere. And everywhere. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Cardinals and Kurt Warner are at an impasse over his contract. Can't blame the cards on this one. Kurt has a recent history of being injury prone. He was fortunate to be healthy this season and had a phenomenal season but if i'm the cards i am not going to pay a 38 year old guy top 5 qb money particularly with his recent history of injuries. I would roll the dice with leinert or bring in a byron leftwich for less. Don't laugh at my funk
