Personally, I tend to find Family Guy a bit hit and miss, but the US comedy's rather facile flashback formula does at least make it easy to chuck in the topical references.

Unfortunately for the star of The Dark Knight, it doesn't seem to be over quite yet. Does Family Guy's take, aired in the US on Sunday night, make you chuckle? Or is time to let sleeping rants lie?

Usually, yeah. They have sort of hit a bump in the road. I still like it, though. That skit kind of went on too long for it to hit as hard to the cranium and humerus simultaneously as it could have.
