"Grease" Part 3? I was surfing the web the other day and I looked up some info on one of my favorite films 'Grease'.To my surprise,I stumbled across a recent interview (September 2002) with Olivia Newton John. She revealed that they are in talks to do another "Grease" film! This film will once again star John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John,and it will be a sequel to the first movie (let's forget all about the "Grease II" fiasco...lol).
There were no details given on what the new film will be about, but here are my ideas on how they should proceed... ***Rydell High Reunion---Obviously,the new film would have to center around a Rydell High School Class of 1959 reunion. In this film,we find out exactly what happened to everybody.Did Danny and Sandy get married? What about Kenickie and Rizzo? ***The Plot---In the new film,we find out that Danny and Sandy are both married to different people. They attend the reunion with their significant others, but of course, the sparks fly when they see each other again.Meanwhile,we find out that Kenickie and Rizzo did indeed get married, but are now heading for a divorce! Things are looking bad for all involved. Can a night of reminiscing work things out for the best? ***The Music---There will be several songs in the film.Danny and Sandy sneak away and perform a beautiful love duet.In her interview,Olivia hinted that she wants Barry Gibb (of The Bee Gees) to once again compose the theme song.

Makes me wonder how this would pan out.
Maybe they waited long enough for it to work! I dunno...but I would love to see John Travolta dancing again.

OMG... 'Prowlin' was the WORST... Imo,most of the songs in "Grease 2" were rubbish... "We're gonna score tonight,we're gonna score to-ni-ight!" "Reproduction! Reproduction!" "Let's Do it for our country, our country wants us to" The only decent song was the one performed by Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield near the end, something about "Turning Back the Hands Of Time" or something like that.

It's most likely to be a telemovie. Set at their twentieth year reunion (which would put it at the height of the disco era).

That makes perfect sense. The original movie takes places in 1959,so if the sequel will be their 20th reunion, they would be in the year 1979.This means that the new songs could be kinda "Disco-ish"...lol... I guess Travolta should take out that polyester white suit,he just may need it again...lol...

POOK said: MAYBE THEIR GRANDKIDS GET TOGETHER LOL...you know,I was thinking of this scenario too: Did any of them have any children in the last twenty years, and should the children be included in the reunion movie? My feeling is "No" because that would be too complicated and there would be too many people to keep track of.Remember in 1990 when there was a "Brady Bunch" revival TV series? There were so many husbands, wives, and kids that you didn't know who was who! It was a mess.I hope the "Grease" revival avoids this.
