Shaquille O'Neal highlighted the NBA All-Star reserve selections this year by moving past Michael Jordan, Karl Malone and Jerry West into second place in league history with his 15th All-Star appearance. As a small token of his appreciation, he danced with the season one champs of America's Best Dance Crew, Jabbawockeez, during player introductions.

I've lost interest in the NBA but I did watch the All-Star game and it was great to see Shaq and Kobe working together. For them to both get MVP was a great ending to the game and possibly Shaq's last appearance. Oh and watching Dwight Howard's face when Shaq passed the ball between his legs was priceless.

"Webb, the shortest person to compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, won the event in 1986. His participation surprised the media; including his teammates, and defending dunk champion Dominique Wilkins, who had "never seen me dunk before," Webb said. His dunks included the elevator two-handed double pump dunk, the one-handed off the backboard one-handed jam, a 360-degree helicopter one-handed dunk, a 180-degree reverse double-pump slam, and finally, the 180-degree reverse two-handed strawberry jam from a lob bounce off the floor. He defeated Wilkins with two perfect 150-point scores in the final round. Atlanta coach Mike Fratello said, "Spud kind of duped him. He told Wilkins he never had anything prepared, didn't practice for it. So, Wilkins maybe thought his normal assortment would be good enough to get through". Twenty years after Webb's victory in the Slam Dunk contest, he trained New York Knicks point guard Nate Robinson (who stands at 5 feet 9 inches tall) to win the event. Spud was amazing. It's crazy that he could elevate like that. I remember thinking I used to be able to jump high and saw myself in the mirror. Looked like I got about 4 inches off the ground. Their vertical abilities are something else.

As for Jordan I didn't like him for basically his entire career. A great player but I was never on board.

While looking at properties in Miami I came across a listing for Shaq's Miami shack.
