Is this a local phenomena or do you see this TOO?! In the past 5 years or so, I have noticed a lot of grown folks sucking their thumbs! I am talking GROWN like 20s, 30s, 40s and I even have seen gray haired folks doing this. It's not race exclusive and none of them appeared to be handicapped in any way, even one time I saw a girl driving a car with one hand because her mouth was busy with the other hand!  See this on the bus and train often.

My younger female cousin sucked her thumb well into her 20s. She's 26 now and occasionally still does. Apparently everyone else in the family ignored it. Since I wasn't around her much growing up, when I did see this mess I was vociferously appalled at that shit and would clown her mercilessly.  But I really went off on her ass when she was 8 months pregnant and STILL sucking her fucking thumb. I was like, "Bitch, how you gon' be sucking your gatdamn thumb when you 'bout to fucking pop??? You betta replace that thumb with a dick and quit trippin' witcha old ass."
