For me there is no real big deal at all - I would do it IF I needed to - I just have never needed to because I take care of that part of my life on my own lol I stock up and have never " been out " of supplies

I did it once when I had tried a smaller size than usual and found out it was not perfect. My then bf had to go to the supermarket anyway on his way back from work, so I asked him to get me what I needed. I have no idea why that is considered "dumb stuff" shrug.

I guess that's what makes the world go round - different opinions hug

I guess perhaps it's not really dumb to ask .. for me I might feel dumb to have to ask so that's what I always buy overstock for myself lol

If it's on a long list of groceries he needs to get, he can damn well get tampons too! why should I make a separate trip wacky I buy him his beard dye - since he can buy tampons without blinking an eye, but I suspect he is embarrassed about the beard dye falloff

What's supposed to be the big deal about that, anyways? Is the poor widdle man's machoness so fragile he can't pick up a few necessities for his lady? Sounds like a weenie to me.

This is exactly what I meant by "dumb shit" reciprocity.

My statement was aimed at women who would expect a man to buy their unmentionables (especially if they're compelled to make a special trip) but would kick up a fuss if...say...they were asked to pick up a six-pack and let him watch the game in peace.

Ya, no kidding. Why would that be any more 'dumb' than asking him to pick up something like deodorant?

People sure have weird hang ups.

Dammit, you know what I meant!!! mad I have three older sisters, and believe me, going to the neighborhood store when you're 12 to get tampons isn't cool....at all....no matter how shrug folks want to make it seem...and when I got married, it seemed that everytime I had to get them for my wife, there was a long line and I always needed a price check over the intercom....again...NOT COOL!!!

They sure do. nod

Everyone knows women bleed. It's not like it's some gross, weird secret. Come to think, given how uncomfortable many men and even some women get about buying personal products like Tampax, it's actually a little odd IMO that people are so cavalier about buying toilet paper.... hmm
