I went to go purchase Photoshop today, and it was prices for $99.99. Is this the normal price or is there a place that carries it for cheaper?

that's not too bad

Though I reckon you could get it somewhere for under $90 hmmm
the cheapest I could buy it for here in Aus would be about US$88

The only way you could ever get it super cheap, is do as I do, and beta test Photoshop..I haven't paid for Photoshop in years!

But everyone is right...it's a pricey program.

Pretty risky, a lot of photoshop files have viruses in them, then there's the whole serial code ordeal, which have even more viruses in them...

lol batting eyes I just used Bit Comet for all of those, downloading from 2 or 3 different sites they list in the program (I forget which, though it's usually the same ones). I've had the odd infected file in the past but it's always flagged and deleted or quarantined by my AV software if anything's amiss.

I got that when I tried to get the newest version of Nikon Capture. Bit bummed out but I'm fine with the older version for now. Pretty much got my workflow sorted now - Photoshop for cloning stuff out (like my dead pixel sad ), Capture NX for general pp stuff and colour control points, back to Photoshop if I want effects from the Nik plug-in and then Neat Image Pro+ if I want to take noise out. smile
