Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Seattle and absolutely fell in love with the area.

I LOVE it and would love to move there, but my family (husband and children) do not want to go. My husband wants to move to Texas and my children want to stay where we are.

So why in the name of all that is Holy did I go online today searching for jobs?

WHY in the name of all that is Holy did I have to see that a PERFECT job for me is available in Seattle?

WHY?????



I guess so that I could file away in the back of my mind that should things change and the opportunity to move to Seattle arises, I'll be okay. *Think positively*

I know what you mean about visiting a place, falling in love with it, wanting to move there, but not being able to carry it out. Been there, done that.

Do ya'll think this would be a bad time for me to watch "Sleepless in Seattle"?

It's on now and while I was visiting in December we went to the beach where Tom Hanks and "son" played catch.

My parents live in the Seattle area. I am in Virginia, we take turns visiting each other every other year. The more I go, the more I love it. I too, at one point looked at jobs over there, and seriously considered moving our family there, but nothing ever came of it. It is still in the back of my head. I really like the area.

I do this all the time! When I look for jobs I have a peek to see whats going in other areas, theres always jobs else where to where I live that would suit me really well and never anything where I'm living!

Children and husbands are so selfish.
