What styles do you consider sexy on a man? Lately I've been a really big fan of sort of a 1940's/1950's look. Nicely tailored 3 piece suit, (can't forget that waistcoat!) trench coat, and a fedora. Think Dick Tracy without all the yellow.
Sadly, none of the men I know IRL would ever dress like this, but I can dream. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Dude looks like he stole his sister's clothes, and not in a good way. EWW I don't want him, I just like guys in wifebeaters and jeans. And the way it shows my favorite body part on a man makes that pic all the more coquettish.

Sadly, none of the men I know IRL would ever dress like this, but I can dream. I love when men wear hats, leather gloves, and nice cashmere scarves. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Guys can't go wrong with black t-shirts and jeans to me
If you will, so will I | |

I often get my style pointers from just looking around. Being befriended to some fashionista's and a lot of people working in the fashion industry, I am overly exposed to people with the kind of style that appeals to me.
The fact is that, like with other object I find beautiful, I cannot afford the stuff I'd really like, so I have to compromise. Certain times I go overboard and get a way too expensive haircut or a fashion item that just shouts BUY ME! Often I find myself drawn to pictures on the net and I save them, for future reference, to get inspired when I am out shopping. I will add a few pics that I collected for style purposes. Some I will pursue, like the Daniel Radcliffe pic, but the style sense of that pic is great, so I just store that in my head when I combine stuff. I react strongly to colour or/and the right combinations. My fashion guru's at the moment are Katherine Jane Bryant, who is doing the costumes for Mad Men (and seeing some of my pics below you will understand why) and two of my friends; David and Joanne. One just has a natural eye for all things beautiful and fashionable and the latter has the same, but made it her work. I steal a lot of their 'pointers', often without them realising it.
