Men and women, what don't you understand about people of your own gender?

Well, it's really not an unfair question to ask. Not just for those of us who toil in the world of same-sex relationships, but for those of us who look at other people of our gender and think "WTF?!?"

ok, go:

OK, I'll bite...

Women: Why do some of them stay in unhappy situations instead of getting off their asses and becoming self sufficient?

I don't understand women who say "I don't get along with other women".

Or women who think they are in competition with all other women, or that assume all other women think they are.

Or women who wear the label "bitch" with pride.

I suuuuure understand lol

I used to rolleyes when I always hear that sentence growing up,,,,,but now, I came to terms with the realization that women are in fact MORE territorial than men, at least against their own.

Even if they don't mean to,,,,or esp if they say they're NOT lol oooooh, the WORST kind are the ones in denial about that shit.

Yes, but your jeans don't really have the look of skinny jeans. They look good on you.

Why is being emotional, thoughtful and sensitive considered less than masculine? I don't like that.

I don't understand why some women are catty.

I don't understand the makeup thing.

I don't understand why so many women like to shop or care about that type of stuff.

I don't understand women who ditch their friends because they get into a relationship.

I don't understand why women feel threatened by other women and why they believe men and women can't be "just friends".

I don't understand the whole gossiping thing some women do.

I don't understand the whole instant judging thing some women do.

But I don't get along with most women. lol

It ma not even be tied to their gender but the stuff I care about is not what I view most women caring about.

My BIGGEST issue with women is "cunning".

I could tolerate every low down rotton thing,,,,except when it comes to manipulation.

Women are MASTERS in the art of manipulation & mind games,,,,and I take a serious offence to that because I pride myself in being straightforward.

Sadly, its not always the case with other women sigh

I don't either and that's why I'm glad I'm gay because I'm "allowed" those things because of that.

I don't get why when I go into a womens' bathroom and the toilet seat is disgusting! Or the toilet in general. If you make a mess on the seat wipe it UP! If you do something in the bowl flush for goodness sake. Gross.

UGH! Thats just a misconception carried by a bunch of ingnant ass fools disbelief

My father is the MOST self-confident man I ever known in my life YET he never felt ashamed to hide his tears.

Of course it fucked me up when I 1st saw him crying,,,,,but then again, a child doesn't want to see either of his/her parents in an emotional moment.

Its one of the things I admired him for,,,,,he doesn't give a shit.

No. I think that's most men. I can cry just by looking at a commercial lol I get tears over almost everything. But I can be a coldhearted bitch when I need to so.... lol

You know, it's really incredible the depth of the conditioning because the first time I ever saw my dad cry I had a feeling of alarm and it was totally appropriate that he was crying as there was a death in our family. I had to pull back from that initial reaction and remind that I was falling for the conditional trap with another man disbelief

I've never had good sex with a man so yeah it is overrated. I am so afraid of lousy sex that I rather not even be bothered. It's been years and I don't miss it.

i went to target the other day and noticed that all the foot care products were marketed for women. pumice stones, foot files, smoothing lotion, etc. - they were all in purple packaging with the words FOR HER in big letters.

so, like, is it not considered acceptable for men to care for their feet? if i buy a pumice stone, will that give me a case of girlyfoot? redface
