Keith Haring. can you recommend me a bio? since i caught a documentary on him last night i'm completely enthralled again. i've always loved his artwork but never knew too much about keith himself. that whole era he comes from, the entire scene. hanging with andy and basquiat or madonna in the early 80s new york and the clubbing. i love to read about artists and their circles. wether it's reading about Henri Roussea, Salvador Dali or Byron. The more detailed the better. when i'm reading a bio there is no such thing as "too much information" or "too much detail". so a book on keith couldn't be big and extensive enough for me. and if not on keith directly, perhaps something about that whole culture he emerged from and moved around in? the whole club scene in new york around that time fascinates me. so any tips on good material regarding that era are also welcome! thanks and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i was thinking of starting with this book by Jeffrey Deitch, Suzanne Geiss, and Julia Gruen. does anyone on here have it? and if so, what do you think of it? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
