Hot shower, B-12. Have a warm meal with a couple of 500mg Tylenol.

I read that FEVERFEW is GOOD for MIGRANES. It's a NATURAL HERB you can buy at GNC....Worth a TRY.

I have migranes so bad also. So here's what I suggest:

1. Try double or triple expresso coffee from Starbucks. Caffeine constricts the blood flow.

2. Try powdered asprin like BC or Goodys (from the South). Then lay down in a dark, quiet place with cold towel over your eyes. Try to relax and have no music, tv or have any scented candles or cigarette smoke around.

3. If those two don't work, go to a doctor. A 10-day or longer headache is serious. You may have anything from high blood pressure, eye strain or stress-related ailment. If you have any fever, neck pain or rashes, go to doctor immediately!

I would Totally DETOX and TRY NATURAL THERAPHY even ACUPUNCTURE! I'm NOT into PILLS and I never take any PILLS like TYLENOL or ANYTHING. CHIROPRACTIC and MASSAGE has helped me my WHOLE LIFE. When I'm sick I may have to take a COUGH SYRUP Cause I get THROAT PROBLEMS,BUT I DON'T BELIEVE in PILLS. And it's RETARDED cause EVERY DENTIST or DR I have ever been to is MORE than WILLING to write a PRESCRIPTION for some DRUG. And I just ThROW the pRESCRIPTION away. For a cold...I drink SAKE and wear loads of Clothes and sleep and SWEAT IT OUT. You can do things NATURALLY so I would say CHANGE the DIET, Get RID OF PILLS and TRY ACCUPUNCTURE or CHIROPRACTIC....EXERCISE.. Take some BATHS and FAST and get the JUNK OUT of your BODY. Get RID OF PILLS....Cut down on STRESS!!!

That sounds interesting. Is it because it helps bloodflow to the brain?

Right now I am trying to detox, mostly for overall better health. And I'm also trying to get on a better diet after I clean my system. But I'm not the type to take all sorts of pills either. That's why I still have this migraine, I'd rather it go away on it's own, and if I can't bear the pain anymore, then I would break down and take an Excedrin (which I only buy in the small bottle because I don't want to have a lot and depend on them, I don't like to pop pills for every little thing - sort of like you. lol) And it's funny that you say mention a massage or accupressure, the other day a friend of mine saw that I had a migraine (because I kept holding my head trying to massage the temples) and she showed me a pressure point on the back of my neck, and as soon as she grabbed it, I felt an immediate relief, but the migraine came back because it wasn't like a full massage or anything. sad

hug I can't imagine how awful it's been for you to have a migraine this long!!! sad
you know they will have a nasal spray for it soon, it's in development - probably just fighting the FDA for approval.

I hear ya, I have it about once in a month for about two days and it hurts so much I have to puke sad

Drinking loads of water, taking a pill of Parkemed and sleeping usually helps.

All the best to you!

Here's another good thing to do. You know those sleep masks? Well, you can chill them or heat them and put them on your farhead. And they have Lavender and Cammomile masks also. I would do that to and rest. Try to isolate when you get these Migranes. Is it TENSION or STRESSFUL SITUATIONS that cause them?

I don't know why but the B-12 helps. Also the post about Goodys powders was good too but the other thing to go with it is a hot shower and have a hot meal with the aspirin. And then lay down.
