Looks like the denver nuggets got smoked at home last night 114-76 minus the
KGless boston celtics. lol
And it looks like that great trade for billups paid
off with chauncey billups scoring 3 points in 34 minutes.
AI can score 10 points in 3 minutes without even breaking a sweat.
Great job chauncey. Great job coach karl. boogie

I'm rooting for Melo though. It's time for him to step up and
carry the nuggets. They are gonna go as far as he take them
particularly if he wants to be considered an elite player like
Lebron and Kobe.

I take it that u are an AI fan?

Yeah i like him especially when he was in philly with me being
a sixers fan. Dude can still play but his window is closing.
The conventional wisdom is to turn this guy into the consummate point
guard but his game is shooting the basketball. It's like trying to
convert kordell stewart into a pocket passer. Just ain't gon'happen. lol

And no namepeace i'm not judging the trade on one game. The postseason
will ultimately determine that.

Great. As a Celtic hater, this is wonderful news. He'll wreck their chemistry like he's done every place he's been.

As a starter yes.....but his minutes will be very limited. I think he can and will help the Celtics.

Well, in the race for homecourt, they fell behind a step, losing to the Clippers. But they signed Mikki Moore, who's at least as good as their healthy frontline players now, and will likely sign Starbury.

If this doesn't work, it will be disastrous.

If it does work, look out.

Sloan & Van Lier were the original 'Bad Boys'. You talk about physical....Walt Frazier used to say he'd have bruises on his arms after playing those cats.

In the 1977 playoffs, the Bulls(with Gilmore at center), played Portland in the opening round and nearly beat them in a tough, physical series. Blazers squeaked by, and would go on to win the title.

They still won't get past Cleveland without home court.

As for the self-proclaimed, 'best PG in the NBA', I'll believe it when I see it. Sure he can get you 20 and 8, but there's a reason teams tire of his ass.

I feel ya. They also beat my sixers that year after the sixers led the series
2-0. The sixers had all the talent in the world on that team. It was a modern
day dallas cowboy blowup.

Yep...Dr.J, George McGinnis, Doug Collins, Steve Mix, World B. Free, Henry Bibby and a young Chocolate Thunder. Great individual talent, but Portland had the better 'team', led by Big Red, Mo Lucas, Bob Gross & Lionel Hollins. Funny thing is, Portland was stronger the following season, but injuries devastated them and they lost to Seattle in the playoffs.

Philly had a few more years of playoff heartbreak(courtesy of Larry Bird & Magic Johnson) until Moses laid down his law in 82-83 - "Fo', fo', fo'!"

George Mac was a ball hog and a blackhole. Once that ball wne into the hole 2 him, the offense came 2 a halt. What a waste of some very talented teams.

Moses was one of the hardest workers I've ever seen in the NBA.
