I think it's time to make some of those small improvements to my house that I've been putting off. I wanted to use my tax money to pay off some bills but due to a recent bat situation, I feel those changes are in order...ASAP!

For the first time in my life, I feel like I really don't know what's going to happen. I've always felt secure in my job and now that I don't have that, I feel like I shouldn't be making any big time resolutions. So I'm just going to keep it simple...

Spend more time with family & friends. And take lots of pictures so I can fill those scrapbooks. biggrin

Oh, and like Stacey said... get laid. razz

Same resolution as last year: find a new job.

Sadly, I fear it's going to be even more difficult to attain than in 2008 (and I was unsuccessful then, too).

sad
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

lol @ those of you making a New Years resolution to get laid. giggle

I would like to exercise more too. I walk outside in the park during the nice weather, but when it gets cold, snowy and ugly outside, I don't get to do it that often. The winter months are when the butt gets bigger, and I don't like that. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Well, it wasn't a resolution for the new year in particular,
but for me to tackle this,
I need to overcome my shyness,
or feelings of ineptness.
It's to be friendlier.

(I used to be so friendly, talking to strangers on the street and all,
and used to make people feel good about themselves that people were drawn to me.
The past 10 or so years really changed me and people now think of me as aloof and withdrawn
but I want that part of my personality/life back.
I guess it was a coping thing for me, to push people away to feel like I'm protecting myself.)

I do remember about a year ago though,
I wrote down something as a personal goal,
and I finally see that as becoming true for me.
I guess writing it down, seeing it visually,
really made it stick in my subconscious that it's come to fruition.
Thank God.

Actually, just be aware. Be civil to my fellow man. Have patience. Treat my wife and kids nice.
Don't get in trouble. Be smooth. Don't drink or smoke. Which I don't. Keep doin that. Watch some sports. It could be a good year.
