If I go to a church, either someone I know has died or someone I know is getting married.

Not on Christmas but we did go to the children's Hip Hop Christmas program at church last night. It was awesome to see them learning about Christmas and expressing themselves in a way they could relate to.

nothing nothing can compare to childhood christmas eve services where
the kids (me included) dressed as people from the nativity story, everyone would sing the christmas hymns and touched the lights would go off for "silent night" and we would light our candles. it's just christmas eve without the candlelight.
