Kim; my mom got my wife into the "village" thing 12 years ago when she bought her a castle. Since then we've been buying one or two a year...usually after Christmas when they are 50% off.

Tomorrow we will have around 10 people here baking all day - drinking mulled wine and just sharing -

then we will do a Solstice ritual in the living room - light candles and go round saying prayers of graditude and what not ...

as we bake we will create the riual we all want to do that evening so it's not set in stone as yet

Thanks for sharing, its all so very beautiful! I am a bad person... I didnt decorate this year.

I just couldn't bring myself to it as the holiday snuck up so darned fast. I did however put out the wreath and hung the cards I received as well as scattered the Christmas packages... so that's something!

Okay here's the thing... I held the camera length-wise, thinking I could rotate it in iPhoto...
