PrintableNot counting straight to dvd ones.  I was disappointed in The Strangers. I don't know about the worst though. Some of the song choices were pretty cool though. Just expected more out of it. I really didn't want to go see this movie, for fear of how much I would not enjoy it. But my girlfriend really loved the film Sideways & therefore this pain-in-the-ass that I've been sleeping with for the past several years & hates going to theatre by herself really wanted to go see this one. indiana jones was kind of jarring and depressing in that "oh my god, they're too old for this kind of thing" sorta way. karen allen fitting back into that role was a stretch, but at least it was kinda nice seeing her as marion again. harrison ford needs to hang up the whip. watching him in this movie made ME feel old. i don't need that kind of pressure, thank you very much. 
BUT i wouldn't say it's the worst movie of the year, because at least it held my attention and did all the things an indiana jones movie usually does, so whatever. 
from all i've heard so far, i think 'the spirit' is going to walk away as the worst movie of 2008. i haven't seen it yet, though if it's as monumentally awful as everyone is saying, i might at least netflix it for some good trainwreck viewing. | |

I think "Quantum of Solace" was the wosrt movie I saw this year. Not that it was a bad movie, it just was a bad James Bond movie, IMHO. | |
