I dont think u want total silence, nor could u get it. your mind alone is processing things all the time. plus not to hear sounds around one's self can be frightening if it lasts too long. sometimes u may start talking to yourself or to an entity that isnt there? however there are lots of peaceful places one can go to, to have the peace & quiet that we ALL need sometimes. walking in a forest, taking a vacation alone, going to church, the quiet u embrace right before sleep, r a few ideas.
