Oh yaeh Anxiety those are them. I can't find them. Another hing I TOTALLY FORGOT was this BUTTONI TOASTER PIZZA. This was so GREAT as a KID... Thank God they still make TAB and FRESCA....They also used to have that BUTTERWORTH BREAD with BUTTER on top. I also liked PEARL DROPS ORIGINAL packaging. And ya know what was really COOL? They had different flavors of POTATO CHIPS by HERRS..TACO, PICKLE, STEAK. And there was a CHESEPEAKE CRAB one. One night I went to like 5 Supermarkets to get Every Weird Flavor I could. biggrin And they used to make a PINK POPCORN and the popcorn stores used to have Flavors in the VILLAGE like LIME,Watermelon, stuff like that.

Must've been one of those limited-release "test" items.

I don't think it was a "test" given we had it in our fairly small city. I remember McD pizza being here in the mid-90's and the local one even had delivery vans. I'm not sure it lasted any longer than a year, though.

I was sick the past few days with a cold, so for lunch on Monday I went to Boston Market for my usual Half-turkey carver sandwich & cup of chicken tortilla soup.

THEY DISCONTINUED MY CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP!!!!! mad mad mad mad mad

It was nice & spicy, perfect for a clogged nose. It always hit the spot for me when I was feeling sick.
I settled for a cup of their chicken noodle soup. ill disgusting.

I was so f*cking mad.

Yes, I was sad to see Oldsmobile go. I liked them over GM's other divisions and I think they employed the best designers. Personally, I would have taken the ax to Buick, if it were my choice...

hmm ...no I don't think just yet. They got some cash I think from Uncle Sam, plus their financing arm (GMAC) was allowed a certain banking status that gave it a boost.

Yeah, I agree with you...they should've axed Buick. However, the Buick Enclave SUV is selling really well right now.

maybe it's because I'm much too intimately familiar with the taste of diet coke - i probably drink about a gallon or 2 of it a day - but i could never stand this lemon stuff. it just tasted "off" to me and made me gag. i have the same problem mixing liquor with it. i'm just too aware of what diet coke is supposed to taste like that when other things are added, i puke. confused

Well the last time I was home in Belgium [in August] I found at the supermarket cans of diet coke mixed with expresso coffee, and let me tell you that it tastes superdelicious! And of course, for a caffeine boost, it's hard to beat.
I wish they had them in the States...

Oh dear I can't remember how it was called or if it had a special name even, I was there last summer... now in the US. I could ask my brother, he's addicted.
I agree the taste was kind of 'special', but chilled it was nice.

Back in 1997-98 I also found in Boston bottles of caffeinated water, just plain water but with added caffeine, sold along the bottles of plain spring/sparkling water. Can't find them anywhere in Boston/NY these days...
