They say 'it's the thought that counts', but everybody would like to receive a present that they can actually use. so...
What was the worst/most meaningless Christmas present you've ever gotten?

A frisbee from my oldest brother, when I was about 23 or 25. I guess he bought it because I enjoy playing frisbee with him on the beach when we go to Florida, but I did not even use it. I wound up giving it to Goodwill or something.

A replica old skool baseball game...



I don't even like baseball...

i was thinking, and i can't remember not liking something...disappointed it wasn't something else?? oh yeah...
one year i really wanted this electronic game called 'blip'(?)
and i got a strollin' bowlin'... i ended up really liking that hoppin' little bowling game...
it was a wind-up game...

i think my worst gift ever was a ceramic wizard figurine, and it had a crystal gazing ball with a secret compartment in it (i'm assuming to put your weed in). i was aghast. it lived in my closet for years because i didn't even know how to go about properly getting rid of it.

My brother-in-law's parents bought me a ping-pong paddle with ball attached to it by a rubber string, and a peg-puzzle thingy from the cracker barrell.

Ironically, I bought them a 30 dollar gift certificate to the cracker barrel as their gift

I was in my early twenties,and had to do the "Oh Wow! this is really cool. " love ya Mom! It is now living in someone elses house by the means of a yard sale.

Losing a loved one at Christmas, when everyone is supposed to be happy and joyous, would be really, really hard! I remember how I felt when my grandfather died, a little over 18 years ago. Even though it was not during the holiday season, it was very hard on all of us.

Exclamation perfume. My brother bought it for me when I was 19 years old because he remembered that I liked it when when we used to live at home with mom...when I was 13. Bro, 1991 called, it wants its perfume back.
