Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I use this...

Agent-18 iPod shield (I have an old 60GB iPod)

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

well i have found that even the cases scratch up the ipod.

and the important part: many of the ipod case dont cover the wheel or the screen leaving them open.

the films can be a nuisance on the wheel, but its still workable. It just depends on how far you want to go to protect your ipod from every little scratch.

I use a clear shield...and keep mine in an iPod Sock.

I have an alarm clock that plays/charges my iPod...but it doesn't fit in the dock if the iPod is encased. I've had the Pod Socks for a couple years now - and really like them.

Invisible Shield. It's simply awesome.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

fireproof!

if they did make them out of nice uncut granite, you would only have to worry about the iPod scratching OTHER things, like sunglasses. I'd actually buy one them geek

That one is bullet proof! lol

A Japanese modder created this custom 5mm Aluminum A5052 case for his iPod -- which can stop a 0.22 bullet -- to prevent it from being crushed by the handrail on those busy subway trains
