I had to stand at the bus stop twice this morning to get to work and my second bus was 10 minutes late.  That's cold 
WAIT!.... To go out in the cold this morning I had on wool socks, long underwear, pants, a cotton camisole and a big warm wool sweater, winter boots, my winter jacket, wool mittens (from Iceland), a big scarf wrapped all around my face and a big floppy hat on pulled down over my ears.

 OMG, I spent the day with one of Alun's friends in Cardiff a couple of months ago. And we were walking up the street talking about good places to find deals. And he said something about "Iceland" the store (which while we were walking was across the street from us). I said, "It's damned cold in there, and what's the value of their currency?" He looked confused. The conversation kind of skidded around for a few seconds before he realized I was talking about the country of Iceland.
