After nine days missing and failed attempt of a team of eight firemen to free it from underneath the floorboards it was stuck under, the hamster got hungry and returend to get some food!

It makes me wonder why firemen even try to recuse animals

don't mind me, I'm in an unusually chipper mood considering my country, our economy etc. are going down in flames.

My best friend was "given" a mini hamster once - I say "given" because of the manner in which it happened. She was standing outside her apartment building with her dog one fins morning, when she hears somebody whistling from overhead. She looks up and there are movers there, on the second (!!) floor. A guy says "hey, catch!" and drops something. She catches it, and it's the tiny hamster! They'd found it somewhere in the apartment and called the owner who didn't let on it was theirs, so they just, literally, dropped it on Jen. What she did with it? She put it in her pocket and went walking her dog. She fixed it up later with everything it needed. Weird story eh?
