Did you buy "The Dark Knight" on DVD today?

I got the 2 disc Blu-Ray and was going to post a video review, but I am lacking the motivation tonight. The extras on this disc reek of "super special edition" down the road. In fact, the second disc isn't even needed with Blu-Ray, they could have easily fit all the extra crap on 1 disc.

Of course the film is as good as it was in the theater and the Blu-Ray preserves the IMAX scenes. You actually can feel the screen get bigger for the IMAX scenes. You kinda have to see it to understand but it's like going from letterbox to full screen without the loss of picture.

The packaging is cool as well. There is a slip cover and the actual disc case has been "Jokerized". Here's the "Jokerized trailer to show you what I mean:

Found a picture:

So I think I'm going to buy the PS3 webcam so I can record a commentary of me getting loaded and watching the movie. Also cool is on the 19th Christopher Nolan is hosting a Blu-Ray Live screening of the movie where he will take live questions.

So, "The Dark Knight"

Cool:
BD Live
IMAX Aspect Ratio
Great Film
Sweet packaging
Dolby Tru HD Sound

Not so great:
Extras are light
No 7.1 audio mix
Where are the alternate cuts and making of? Deleted scenes? I want a 3 hour making of TDK!
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

nah, not yet. the best movie of the year though, imo. was gonna get it in the next few days myself, but the special features look rather disappointing. no deleted scenes or commentary talk to the hand. i'll wait to get it as a gift for christmas or something cool.
For all time I am with you, you are with me.

I loved the movie but I'll probably wait on this. Deleted scenes would trump all those extras for me, so I might as well wait for the version that has those.

I got it on blu-ray....I thought it was good....once again, I ended up rooting for the Joker...Heath, much like Jack, stole the movie...overall, I'll watch it more than once...

....and X-319, it does come with a digital copy...

I thought I was gonna like it, but halfway through, like an hour and 10 mins through it last night, I didn't feel compelled to sit through the rest. I wasn't even tired or anything, I just didn't connect with it. I hate all the characters except Morgan Freeman's and Michael Caine's - they could all die for all I cared lol

Dark Knight definitely beats IronMan which was SpiderMan and the Dark Knight in Iron instead of Spandex.
Iron Man was full of everything from every other Superhero movie

nope, I don't think seeing that would have raised my opinion of the whole movie any more.
This film was totally lacking in humour, as far as I could see. I know it was a drama, and I don't at all expect it to be a comedy, but I feel this batman may be vulnerable, but doesn't come across as very human - unless that all happened in the second half of the film lol
