ups and fedex

Is there a way to give the driver a message so they won't leave my package with neighbors since I'm home. Is there an option at their websites? I don't think they buzz my bell.

Give the main office a call, they will notify the driver probably.

If there is is a way to notify the sender,
tell 'em to mark the "Direct Signature" box on the "Residential Delivery Signature Options" section of the airbill.
This way, the delivery won't not be made until you specifically are present to sign for the package, yo.

yes, you call the customer service line, once you give them your tracting number, they know which driver to locate and they relay the message nod

I just put a note on my door authorizing them to leave the package and sign the note.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

The post office has nothing to do with UPS and FedEx. I used to work for FedEx and I know that they can be given instructions. The best way for FedEx is to have the shipper send the package to a "HOLD-AT" location and you can pick it up from there. You can get a list of locations on their website or call 1-800-GO-FEDEX. Also, if the package has been shipped and you have the tracking number, you can call the 800 number and give them instructions.

From my understanding, UPS works about the same way.

Not for FedEx. They don't usually do well with email. It's usually better the call customer service and bypass the system by saying "OPERATOR".

all i can do is suggest u don't use UPS. I work there. We will sit on, throw, step on, squish, crunch, stand on ANY package u send us. We don't care....or at least most package handlers don't.

lol...i said package handler! We always joke around about that and grab out junk and stuff.

That sounds kinda hot. biggrin

But yeah, UPS sucks. Worst customer service ever, and the whole company is built around a very outdated business model.

UPS does have great benefits. I know people that work there.

FedEx's insurance is ok, but doesn't compare to UPS. FedEx Express employees used to get kick-ass benefits (especially the airline discounts), but I'm not sure if they still offer that with the way the economy is. I know people that flew from Dallas to LA every weekend to visit family and party. All they paid was $25 to $50 per ticket.

well, I just found out I have a lazy ups carrier...the guy that works below me told the ups guy to send it to me since I'm home and the ups guy told him "nehhhh she's probably not home" mad I'm waiting for the package and he doesn't ring the bell and I leave a message on the door....what a bumb. Most days I'm at work, but this week I'm off...come on!
